State Concern "Turkmenneft" has declared 27 January to 27 February 2017 international tender for the construction of wells on the Northern Goturdepe field, located in shallow waters of the Caspian Sea.
Wells construction is planned within phase 1 of investment project for the development of the North field Goturdepe. The tender included two lots for the purchase of pipes and metal rolling, and also for the purchase of off-site facilities, technological and drilling equipment.
As previously reported, in early January of 2017 SC "Turkmenneft" has prepared a project for the development of this promising field, located in shallow waters of the Turkmen part of the Caspian sea. The cost of the first phase of development is estimated at 600 million U.S. dollars.
For the project, Turkmenneft plans to create a joint venture with a foreign company, where 90 percent of the work will fulfill state concern, and potential investor – services.
Obtained in the course of earlier conducted in this field survey data indicate the presence of rich hydrocarbon reserves. In the first phase it is planned to build 60 exploration and development wells and other necessary facilities. According to preliminary calculations, the growth of geological oil reserves of approximately 38.5 million tons, and in the course of further work the General reserves are planned to increase to 87.3 million tons. For seven years it is planned to produce about 6 million 855 thousand 771 tons of oil.
